PodcastHost.com (http://podacsthost.com) is a site with listings of podcast torrent files that allows you to download podcasts using any bittorrent program or aggregator that supports .torrent enclosures. If you don't have either of those, there is a program at the site that you can install, that will allow you to easily download.
PodcastHost.com (http://podacsthost.com) also allows podcast authors to upload their content. At this time, uploading is limited to users that are running Windows operating systems.

I downloaded iPodder today and installed it without incident.
I added the URL manually of my PODCAST feed. I click on Get Selected Feed and it finds my feed but does nothing. I click on Check for New Podcasts and it does something but it doesn't report a podcast at my site of the installed defaults and it doesn't download anything (apparently).
There's only a HIDE and QUIT icon button on the bottom.
Where's the LISTEN TO PODCASTS button?
THis is the #1 rated software - sheeeesh! Not intuitive at all.
Obviously operator error but there's no documentation to read either.
Can anyone help?

then i ran into the insomnia radio thread where jason posted ipodder with a bunch of podcast already featured in it.
and that one actually did something. but i couldn't turn it off. the program would not quit. until i restarted my computer. and i had to turn it off. because i couldn't force quit ipodder.

A short tutorial on how to get started with FeederReader on your Pocket PC. It's just like a Wireless Video iPOD. Download podcasts directly to your device. Works with video, too!

I've had one bad experience after another so far. Juice, Newsgator's podcatcher, Google's reader; they are all pretty UNintuitive. I will just keep using Yahoo and Podcast Alley to look up my favorites and download them manually until the business catches up with the mainstream. I'm happy behind the curve for now...

You can get a free podcast receiver for Windows that looks and works like a 1940s radio. It's called Golden Ear.
You can find it at http://brooklynnorth.com
It let's you easily browse a site for podcasts and will list all available podcasts with their posted descriptions.
You can stream (listen without downloading) as well as download podcasts so you can upload them to your iPod or other MP3 player.

Try FeedTheNetwork.com (http://www.FeedTheNetwork.com).
Currently, 56,000 links to over a terabyte of content.
A random 12 channels are shown on the homepage, so refresh it and maybe you'll find some interesting ones which you were not aware of.
It's also searchable, intuitive and fast.
Video and Audio content included. More to come as soon as more people figure out how to correctly create their RSS Feeds.

I don't know if it's just me . . or is the search slow for videos?

It may have been you.
I still don't see the value in out-of-context searches like those.
Maybe that's just me.

Okay - so I did a search, got one result -
Didn't find anywhere to listen to the podcast, only found multiple places to be sent to other sites.
So, what is Triyo? A directory to RSS feeds or a place for a non-technical person to get exposed to podcasts?
If it's the first, then okay, if it's the latter, then you'll do nothing but confuse people.
Remember, no matter how great your technology is, when it comes to the human element, things usually fail.
Just like when I send out 2500 emails about new features at feedthenetwork.com
Initially, I assumed that they would check out the site and have a look around to see who they could find, but what happens is, people click the link from the email to the site, check to see if their channel is listed, then they leave.
It's hard getting the word out there, meanwhile, some company like Google goes and farts, and it's front page news globally.
I've got another system in the works - which would let people upload multiple-files at a time simply by selecting-all and clicking on upload. Now one would think that's a great thing, given the current state of how 99% of all file upload procedures work.....problem is, now I have in my mind that people just won't "get it" and I'll have spent another 5,000+ hours of development time for nothing.
Hmmm, perhaps I need a career change?

I just dicovered this new podcathing utility and I searched this site and got no info on it. So i decided to share with you guys my new toy.
It can be used for both podcasts and vodcasts or video podcasts, and it comes with a very big built-in podcasts database through which you can easily sort. It also has a built-in player for audio and video, so no more opening with other stuff and it can sync to my portable device. In a few words, it has it all.
The name is Podspider (http://www.podspider.com)
Tell me what you think :)

This Podspider was posted on this site like a year ago or smth...and it was not such a great tool if I remember corectly and do you call "very big" 10.000 podcasts ?

The software says almost 30.000 podcasts in a built-in database, and that is a lot. I don't know what the software looked like or did in the past, but the one I am using is totally awesome. Just give it a try and talk to me later.

Yeah right like Podspider is gonna beat iTunes. You have it all with iTunes, so why bother with another application that it's not even close to be as cool as iTunes !!

senzation, why don't you get informed in the first place then post
It is cooler then iTunes in many ways, but it is a podcasting tool, not a virtual shop like your beloved iTunes.
This tool has no commercials, is not oriented towards selling music or iPods, it just gives a podcast fan all that he wants:
-very fast
-reliable
-a very large database, well organized
-built-in player for the files you download, both video and audio
-it syncs with almost any mobile device
-and it looks very nice
At least I am very impressed.
Sorry if I repetead what I said in an earlier post, but maybe some people that read this thread need such a list, like senZation here :P

I was busy the last few days, and it seems I missed some aspects here. Nice list of features, but are you sure it can really sync with the iPod ? I don't have an iPod, curently using a Sony portable device. Anyway still have to check how Podspider and my Sony get along

this is the worst example of one sided viral advertising that i have ever seen.....
how about you quit spamming and actually produce a quality product and let it speak for itself.

In the beginning, I was founding difficult to find the websites where I can get Audio Books or podcasts which is of good quality. Finally, I found a website http://www.im-listening-audio-books.com/ where I downloaded loads of audio books. So according to me, this will helps every newbies like me.
