The 6.5 Questions
1. How long have you been podcasting?
August 3rd, 2009 will mark three years since I first entered The Mothpod.

2. How many shows have you done?
As of writing, 134 episodes of The Mothpod, 74 episodes of The Shameless Plugcast, a couple dozen episode of Mothpod Video/To The Flame, and 32 episodes of The Pod 5 which I produce. I also produce Hot Cocoa Master Minds, Candid Questions with Candice, and my podnovel series Dark Worlds: Project 31. Who needs sleep, eh?

3. How has your quality/performance changed since your first show?
The very first episode of The Mothpod was COMPLETELY scripted. Now for better or worse everything is off the cuff. Eventually you just get comfortable in you own skin and start having fun. I think that The Mothpod is a lot more personal now because of that. It?s less of a spin & play and more of a hang out and listen experience, if that makes any sense.

4. What podcasts do you listen to and which are your favorites?
Wow, there?s a lot. Ed?s Mixed Bag, UC Radio, Mevio Radio, Geek Brief, Things I Learned This Week, Goodnight Burbank, The Chillcast, SoccerGirl Incorporated, Tekdiff, The Totally Rad Show, and Epic-Fu just to name a few.

5. Tell us about your show and who should be listening to it?
The Mothpod is your weekly music referral featuring only the best that the indie music scene has to offer. Each episode features twelve tracks by twelve different artists, so you?re getting an album?s worth music free to download every week. In other words, if you are tired of hearing the same tracks spun over and over again on terrestrial radio, then this is the podcast for you.

6. What is your background (especially if relevant to your podcast)?
My background is in journalism and marketing. I?ve worked on building a podcasting network for my university and currently hold the position of Promotions & Marketing Director for the internet radio station Bounce Radio. Additionally, I?m also the author of the Dark Worlds Trilogy.

6.5 Is there anything else your listeners should know about you, your show, etc?
Though I?ve required the use of a wheelchair my entire life, I like to think that in the fast track of life I?m hitting the pavement with four wheels. So just try to keep up.
