1. How long have you been podcasting?
Our first show was recorded 09/23/04, on our 10th anniversary of
meeting each other.
2. How many shows have you done?
As of typing this... 45
3. How has your quality/performance changed since your first show?
We've gotten more comfortable with the process and setup, so it has
changed quite a bit. The first shows didn't sound very good and using
a USB mic as opposed to the internal one on my powerbook was the
biggest boost in quality.
4. What podcasts do you listen to and which are your favorites?
There's a few that I listen to regularly that I'd consider favorites:
Daily Source Code, Morning Coffee Notes, Trade Secrets, RasterWeb!
Audio, Evil Genius Chronicles, Reel Reviews, Croncast, Whole Wheat
Radio, Jimmy Jet, The Gilmore Gang, Engadget, Rock and Roll Geek Show,
Really Learn Spanish
hmm, that's a long list... and I know that I must have missed a couple.
5. Tell us about your show and who should be listening to it?
Everyone should listen to our show! Except for our parents and
grandparents. And those who are easily offended. Other than them...
everyone. Screw that! Even if you get offended easily, tune in and
lighten up Francis.
6. What is your background (especially if relevant to your podcast)?
Well, our podcast is just the two of us recording a conversation with
each other, so our background is just that we've been together for 10
years and married for 4 years. We just know and love each other, and
are the best of friends. Bestest buddies.
6.5. Is there anything else your listeners should know about you, your show, etc?
We'll stop at nothing less than total world domination, unless Dawn
gets sidetracked by a shiny bit of foil.
